City Council suspends August 26 session in observance of National Heroes Day, City Fiesta on August 28

THE 20th City Council, during its regular session on Monday, adopted a resolution suspending its next regular session scheduled for August 26, 2024 in observance of National Heroes Day, which falls on the same day.

The resolution also acknowledges the upcoming City Fiesta on August 28, 2024, a significant event celebrating the city's rich cultural heritage and unity. The suspension of the August 26 session allows city officials and residents to participate in these important events.

Vice Mayor Bebot Rodriguez highlighted the importance of National Heroes Day and City Fiesta in fostering a sense of community and honoring the city’s and the nation's heritage.
