City Council honors Vice Mayor Bebot Rodriguez as 2024 Dangal ng Bayan regional winner

The 20th City Council congratulated Vice Mayor Bebot Rodriguez for her outstanding achievement as the regional winner of the prestigious 2024 Dangal ng Bayan Award, conferred by the Civil Service Commission (CSC) on September 16, 2024.

In their 96th Regular Session, a resolution “congratulating the Honorable City Vice Mayor Jocelyn B. Rodriguez for having been conferred the Dangal ng Bayan Regional Award 2024 by the Civil Service Commission”, was unanimously adopted by all council members, recognizing Vice Mayor Rodriguez's remarkable accomplishment. 

The Dangal ng Bayan Award, presented by CSC Region X, acknowledges individuals in government who have consistently demonstrated exceptional ethical behavior, as defined by the eight norms of conduct outlined in Republic Act No. 6713, the Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees.

Vice Mayor Bebot Rodriguez received the award during the "2024 Parangal at Pasasalamat," hosted by CSC Region X at the Grand Caprice, Limketkai Center, Cagayan de Oro. The award was presented to her by CSC Region X Director Noemi Rabe-Torres, making her the first Vice Mayor from Cagayan de Oro and Northern Mindanao to receive this meritorious recognition.

Expressing her gratitude, Vice Mayor Bebot extended her heartfelt thanks to the members of the 20th City Council for their acknowledgment and support, reaffirming her commitment to serving the people with integrity and dedication.
