City Council grants terminal leave benefits to city hall employees
CITY hall employees who retired from government service may now get their terminal leave benefits.
This, after the 20th City Council, during its regular session presided over by City Vice Mayor Bebot Rodriguez, enacted separate ordinances appropriating the total amount of ₱500,876.00 for payments of the terminal leave pay of Ms. Nida B. Paña, former Assistant City Social Welfare and Development Officer, and Ms. Mary Edelyn Gacus-Jagonia, former Nurse at J.R. Borja General Hospital, who retired from government service.
The allocated amount also includes payment of terminal leave benefit for Mr. Christian A. Esclamado, who resigned from public service.
The legislations were reviewed and endorsed by the Committees on Finance, Budget and Appropriations and Laws and Rules respectively chaired by Councilors Yan Lam Lim and Edgar S. Cabanlas.
