City Council grants salary hike to medical personnel retirees
TWO medical personnel of the city-owned J.R. Borja General Hospital (JRGBH), who will compulsorily retire from government service, will be granted one grade salary increase.
Through separate ordinances, the 20th City Council, during its regular session presided over by City Vice Mayor Bebot Rodriguez, granted the increase pursuant to Section 30 of RA 7305 (Magna Carta for Public Health Workers) and appropriated an amount for payment of their three-month salary differential.
The ordinances were sponsored by the Committees on Finance, Budget and Appropriation and Laws and Rules chaired by Councilors Yan Lam Lim and Edgar S. Cabanlas, respectively.
