City Council adopts AIP for CY 2025

The 20th City Council, during its regular session on Monday, enacted an ordinance approving and adopting the City Government of Cagayan de Oro's Annual Investment Program (AIP) for Calendar Year 2025.

This follows the mandate of the Local Government Code of 1991 (RA 7160), which requires local government units to formulate their AIP, detailing development programs, projects, and activities (PPAs) aligned with their respective development plans.

The AIP for CY 2025 was previously presented and approved by members of the City Development Council (CDC) on June 5, 2024. It adheres to national, regional, and local investment programming policies and guidelines, according to information gathered by The Gavel.

City Mayor Rolando A. Uy certified the legislation as urgent, and it was subsequently approved by the City Council.
