Cabanlas named new chair of Public Works Committee

CITY Councilor and Majority Floor Leader Edgar S. Cabanlas is the new Chairperson of the Committee on Public Works.

This, as the 20th City Council during its regular session presided over by City Vice Mayor Bebot Rodriguez adopted a resolution reorganizing the composition of the standing committees of the 20th City Council.

Councilor Cabanlas takes over the seat vacated by the outgoing Sangguniang Kabataan Federation President John Michael Seno.

The Committee on Public Works studies, investigates, and reports to the body on all matters concerning public works and construction, or maintenance of roads, streets, canals, drainage systems, waterworks, buildings, equipment depots, and other matters of similar nature.
