Cabanlas invites public to witness 2nd Kagay-an Int’l Dragon Boat Fiesta Race

Majority Floor Leader Councilor Edgar S. Cabanlas is inviting everyone to witness the upcoming 2nd Kagay-an International Dragon Boat Fiesta Race on August 9-11, 2024 at 8:00 o’clock in the morning at the Isla de Oro in Barangay Consolacion.

The international competition, which will feature teams from other countries to compete on the majestic Cagayan de Oro River, celebrates the sport of dragon boat racing and the cultural heritage and communal spirit associated with this traditional activity.

Councilor Cabanlas encouraged the public to join the fun, saying “It’s a wonderful opportunity to create lasting memories together and experience the diverse culture that make our fiesta celebration so special.”
