Cabanlas inspects proposed subd project in Lumbia
COUNCILOR Edgar S. Cabanlas, chair of the City Council Committee on Subdivision and Landed Estate, conducted an ocular inspection on November 12 of the proposed subdivision project in Barangay Lumbia.
The inspection is in related to the application for Preliminary Subdivision Development Plan (PSDP) of the Johndorf Ventures’ proposed housing subdivision with an area of160,039 square meters.
Councilor Cabanlas, along with representatives of the City Engineer’s Office, City Housing and Urban Development Department (CHUDD), project engineers of the developer, scrutinized the installation of detention pond and the effective management of drainage outfall to mitigate flooding issues.
The proposed detention pond is designed to collect runoff water during heavy rains.
During the inspection, the technical team of the developer shared detailed plans for the drainage system, including the area where the said detention pond is to be installed and its standard size as set by the city.
After thorough review, Councilor Cabanlas recommended the application for approval and referred to his Committee on Laws and Rules for appropriate action.
