Cabanlas committee endorses turnover of subd project in Lumbia

The City council committee on subdivision and landed estate chaired by Councilor Edgar S. Cabanlas favorably endorsed the donation of Liberty Land Corporation for its Westgate Highlands Phase 3 Subdivision project located at Upper Palalan, Barangay Lumbia. The developer of the subdivision expressed its intention to turn over the roads and common areas of the subdivision to the city government.

During the meeting, Councilor Cabanlas said the committee recommended the approval of the application to turn over its subdivision project, following the submission of the pertinent documents such as Certificate of Completion issued by the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD).

Engr. Eva Gales of the City Engineer’s Office informed the committee that the developer already rectified all the deficiencies earlier observed by her office. It was learned that the City Engineer’s Office already conducted separate ocular inspections as to the scope of land development.

The office also submitted its findings and inventory report to the committee regarding the matter. As this developed, the committee referred the donation papers to the committee on laws and rules chaired by Councilor Cabanlas for appropriate action.
