Cabanlas comm backs renewal of BSP-CDO’s bldg HQ
THE City Council Committee on Subdivision and Landed Estate chaired by Councilor Edgar S. Cabanlas favorably endorsed the request of the Boy Scout of the Philippines (BSP-CDO) for the renewal of the usufruct agreement for the use of the city-owned property as the BSP-CDO Council building headquarters.
During the committee meeting yesterday, a representative of BSP-CDO said they wanted to renew the usufruct agreement with the city for another 25 years, so they can renovate some of the rooms to accommodate guests coming from other cities.
Manifesting that the BSP-CDO headquarters is dilapidated and not well maintained, Cabanlas stressed: “I think we should improve that building”.
With this, he asked the City Legal Office to prepare the usufruct agreement between the city government and the BSP-CDO.
Councilors Joey Abbu, Aga Suan, and Roger Abaday moved for the approval of the request of BSP.
