Cabanlas cmte to tackle drainage complaint of subd project in Lumbia

THE City Council committee on subdivision and landed estate chaired by Councilor Edgar S. Cabanlas will soon tackle the complaint regarding the drainage system of a development project at Upper Palalan, Barangay Lumbia.

In a letter complaint to the committee, Rosebelle Villanueva, representative of Liberty Land Corporation, said its subdivision project is affected by the ongoing development. She alleged that the developer has not provided the necessary drainage outfall to connect to the city’s drainage system as per approved plan by the city and other agencies involved.

Villanueva said because of this, the subdivision experiences flooding which has caused the collapse of its riprap project.

She expressed hopes that this will be acted upon immediately for the safety of homeowners living in the area and to save them from reconstructing and incurring additional expenses.
