Cabanlas, Abaday conduct inspection of subdivision project in Brgy Agusan

COUNCILOR Edgar S. Cabanlas, chair of the City Council Committee on Subdivision and Landed Estate, with Councilor Roger G. Abaday, conducted an ocular inspection of a proposed subdivision project in Barangay Agusan last Thursday, September 7, 2023.

The inspection is in response to the application for a Development Permit (DP) for its Taekwood Crest Subdivision Project. It covers an area of 76,000 square meters, containing 213 lots/units, as applied for by the A. Brown Company, Inc.

As to the technical evaluation, the developer is required to construct a detention pond prior to any earth-moving activities on the project site; desilt/declog any siltation and/or eroded materials that may block a waterway; and be responsible for any residential area that may be affected by the said development.

During the inspection, a representative of the developer manifested that the management will be putting its proposed socialized housing project at Barangay Bayanga, as a counterpart to the city government for a 15% requirement.

Councilor Cabanlas advised the developer to provide an affidavit of undertaking for the purpose.

The inspection was joined by the technical team of the City Engineer’s Office, the City Housing and Urban Development Department (CHUDD), and representatives of the developer
