Annual budgets of Brgys. 17, 39 OK’d
BARANGAYS 17 and 39 will be able to implement their programs and projects lined up for this year.
This, after the 19th City Council headed by Vice Mayor Raineir Joaquin V. Uy during its regular session Monday adopted separate resolutions returning to the barangay councils of Barangay 17 and 39 their respective ordinances covering their Annual Budgets with the information that said ordinances are operative in their entirety.
Barangay 17 has an estimated income of P5,337,533, which will cover the barangay’s 20-percent development fund that includes flood control project/declogging of canals, rehabilitation of multi-purpose hall, and installation of street lighting system.
Meanwhile, Barangay 39 has an income of P3,305,607 intended for the rehabilitation and improvement of materials recovery facility, flood control of canals and rehabilitation of drainage systems along J.R. Borja Street, Mortola Street, Hayes Street, and Daumar Street.
The two resolutions were reviewed and endorsed by the committees on barangay affairs and on laws and rules chaired by Councilor Yan Lam Lim and Ian Mark Q. Nacaya, respectively.
