Annual budgets of 2 Barangays OK’d
THE 20th City Council on its regular session presided over by Vice Mayor Jocelyn B. Rodriguez adopted two separate resolutions returning to two barangays their 2023 budgets as operative.
Out from its estimated income of P6,470,560, Barangay Baikingon allocated P976,240 and P645,756, representing its 20% development fund and 10% SK fund, respectively.
Meanwhile, Barangay FS Catanico allocated P743,161 for the rehabilitation of its water system, local roads, drainage system and materials recovery facility (MRF), among others.
The rest of the appropriations of the two barangays were reserved for the payment of personal services, non-office expenditures and maintenance and other operating expenses (MOOE), The Gavel learned.
The legislations were reviewed and endorsed by the committees on barangay affairs and on laws and rules respectively chaired by Councilors Yan Lam S. Lim and Ian Mark Q. Nacaya.
