Annual Budget of Brgy 5 Ok’d
Barangay No. 5 can now implement their programs and projects lined up for this year. This, after the 20th City Council during the 29th regular session presided over by Vice Mayor Jocelyn B. Rodriguez adopted a resolution returning to the Barangay Council of Barangay No. 5 its ordinance covering the Annual Budget for 2023.
Barangay No. 5 has an estimated income of P2,871,459 this year, which include allocation for the barangay’s 20-percent development fund that will finance the construction of drainage and canals and rehabilitation of barangay roads.
The amount will also be used to fund benefits to barangay employees, maintenance expenses including training, office supplies, nutrition program, and other operating expenses. The said barangay budget was reviewed and endorsed by the committees on barangay affairs and on laws and rules chaired by Councilors Yan Lam S. Lim and Ian Mark Q. Nacaya, respectively.
