Annual Budget of Barangay Iponan OKd
THE 20th City Council during its regular session Monday presided over by Vice Mayor Jocelyn B. Rodriguez adopted a resolution returning to the Barangay Council of Iponan its ordinance covering its Annual Budget for 2022 with the information that the same is operative in its entirety.
Our of its estimated income of P33,454,127, the barangay allocated P6,117,715, representing the barangay’s 20% development fund for the construction of a pasalubong center, temporary shelter for abused women and rescued minors, BDRRM office and a multi-purpose building.
The amount shall also be utilized for the rehabilitation of barangay roads, canals/drainages and four-day care centers, installation of street lighting system, COVID 19 quick response program, purchase of one unit self-loader with boom truck for its solid waste management program.
The barangay also allocated funds for maintenance and other operating expenses (MOOE), personal services, capital outlay, special purpose appropriation and SK Fund, The Gavel learned.
The legislation was reviewed and endorsed by the committees on barangay affairs and on laws and rules chaired by Councilors Yan Lam S. Lim and Ian Mark Q. Nacaya, respectively. (SP/JAOclarit)
