Alteration of Plan of city’s socialized housing project OKd

THROUGH an ordinance, the 19th City Council headed by Vice Mayor Raineir Joaquin V. Uy approved the alteration of plan of a portion of the Cagayan de Oro Resettlement and Socialized Housing Project – 5 (CDORSHP-5) in Barangay San Simon.

The city intends to change road lots covering an affected area of 36,123 square meters, by widening the 6.5-meter road lots to 8.0 meters to conform to the city’s minimum design standard for roads, pursuant to Ordinance No. 6629-98.

For this purpose, the legislative body amended Ordinance No. 13916-2020, approving the Development Permit of the project, which has a total area of 112,198 square meters containing 833 lots/units.

The alteration of plan was reviewed and endorsed by the committees on subdivision and landed estate and on laws and rules respectively chaired by Councilors Edgar S. Cabanlas and Ian Mark Q. Nacaya.
