Achas asks for patience as Puerto Highway Project continues

COUNCILOR Christian Rustico M. Achas, chair of the City Council Committee on Fisheries and Aquatic Resources and former Barangay Chair of Puerto, is asking for patience from nearby residents, especially the drivers and commuters affected by the construction of Puerto Highway Project.

This, as the City Information Office (CIO) posted a public advisory that motorists will be required to take the inner lane of the road when entering since the outer lane of Puerto Highway is being repaired.

“We understand that this will be an inconvenience for some people, but we are confident that the project will benefit everyone in the long run”, said Councilor Achas.

According to the CIO, the inner lane of the said highway going to and from the city proper is passable. Light vehicles can also utilize the Barangay Balubal road as an alternative route to at least minimize and avoid traffic congestion in the said road project area.
