Abbu thanks NCMF for warm welcome

Councilor Jose Pepe S. Abbu, Jr. expressed his gratitude to the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF) for being part of its Community Legal Education Program in partnership with Hanns Seidel Foundation held last Thursday, February 23, 2023 at the VIP Hotel.

The councilor was invited as resource speaker during the event and shared his knowledge on ordinances related to the theme “Law and Culture: fundamental right to free exercise of religion and cultural sensitivity.”

The NCMF is a government agency in the country which aims to promote the rights of Muslim Filipinos and to make them active participants in Philippine nation-building.

Councilor Abbu assured that the city government will be providing continuous support to their plans and programs.

“Daghang salamat sa imbitasyon ug higayon. Makalaom kamo nga ang dakbayan magpalikod sa inyong mga kalihokan ug plano,” he stressed.
