Abaday joins Maritime Safety Culture Awareness Campaign Caravan 2024

Councilor Roger Abaday, representing on behalf of City Mayor Rolando A. Uy, took part in the Maritime Safety Culture Awareness Campaign Caravan 2024 with the theme “Ligtas Byaheng Dagat”, yesterday, October 15.

The caravan was part of the nationwide effort to strengthen maritime safety protocols in the region, ensure a thriving maritime industry, and protect passengers welfare, crews, and vessels.

The successful launch of the event was attended by Ms. Juliet S. Nacion, OIC-Director of Maritime Industry Authority (Marina) X and Marina Safety Head Engr. Ronald De Lima.

Philippine Port Manager Engr. Isidro V. Butaslac, Commander of the Coast Guard District Northern Mindanao (CGDNM) CG Commo Vincent Bingbong D. Fiesta, and Bureau of Customs Deputy District Collector for Operations (District 10), Mr. Miguel Oscar Antonio Pizamo were also in attendance.
