Subd cmte to review Deed of Donation for GK-SMC relocation site beneficiaries in Balubal

THE City Council committee on subdivision and landed estate chaired by Councilor Dometilo Acenas Jr. is set to review the actual edited portions and final form of the Pro-Forma Deed of Donation, including the Deed of Restrictions, in connection with the approved Ordinance No. 13616-2019.

This is in relation to the Deeds of Conveyance of beneficiaries at GK-SMC Relocation Site in Barangay Balulabal.

The Power learned that the city is the owner of a parcel of lands covered by the Balubal Relocation Site Housing Project including all existing buildings/improvements located in the barangay.

It may be recalled that the 18th City Council headed by Vice Mayor Raineir Joaquin V. Uy enacted Ordinance No. 13616-2019, authorizing City Mayor Oscar Moreno to enter into and sign the individual deeds of conveyance in favor of the identified beneficiaries at the relocation site in the said barangay.

It was learned that the housing project was acquired by the city government through an ordinance using “Trust Fund: Donations,” and which is part of its Socialized Housing Project.

The relocation site is intended for victims of Typhoon Sendong, The Power learned. (SP/JBD)
