Dads earmark funds for just compensation payment

THE 18th City Council headed by Vice Mayor Raineir Joaquin V. Uy continues to speedily act on the city’s obligations to lot owners whose properties are affected by projects.

During the regular session Monday, legislators enacted an ordinance appropriating P7.6 million for full payment and documentation expenses of a 3,380 square meter lot located in Barangay Patag.

The property was affected by the 10-meter wide Molawan Street project.

The legislation was endorsed by the committees on finance and appropriations, on subdivision and landed estate and on laws and rules chaired by Councilors Edna M. Dahino, Dometilo Acenas, Jr. and Ian Mark Q. Nacaya, respectively.
