Gaane to grace DOH-CHO awareness program on lifestyle related diseases

COUNCILOR Maria Lourdes S. Gaane, chair of the City Council committee on health and sanitation and health insurance, will grace the event, Awareness on Lifestyle Related Diseases, a program of City Health Office and the city government in coordination with the Department of Health (DOH-10).

The event will take place on April 17, 2018 at 8:00 o’clock in the morning at Mallberry Suites and Business Hotel along Limketkai Center.

The program, which is sponsored by the City Health Office, bears the theme “Looking into the Health of Diabetes”. The event will also be attended by City Mayor Oscar Moreno, Dr. Nimfa Torrizo of DOH-10, Dr. fe Bongcas, Dr. Rachel Dilla, Nita Antipuesto, Dr. Andresa Benas, Alma Valleser, Dr. Fahad Macadato, all of CHO.

Topics will be tackled include current trends on hypertension, updates on healthy lifestyle, updates on Diabetes Mellitus and diet management for special population, among others.

Councilor Gaane encourages the public to join the program of the City Health Office. (JBD)
