COUNCILOR Dometilo Acenas Jr., chair of the City Council committee on subdivision and landed estate, led the ocular inspection yesterday of a subdivision project in Barangay Carmen.
The inspection is in response to the application of Pueblo de Oro Development Corporation for Development Permit (DP) of Bamboo Lane subdivision.
The subdivision lot covers an area of 19,039 square meters more or less containing 122 lot units and one slot for commercial lot.
The application for DP was endorsed by the City Planning and Development Office (CPDO), City Housing Board and City Engineering Office with the recommendations that the developer should implement several measures during the development stage of the subdivision project.
The city is requiring the developer to provide bank protection structure along Calaanan Creek based on the condition stipulated on the DP of San Agustin Valley Homes, implement the dissilting/reclogging of any siltation that may affect a waterway and/or a residential area as may be caused by the said development, among others.
Councilor Acenas advised the developer to plant trees in the areas designated for parks and playground and other community facilities and encourages homeowners to plant trees within their respective yards.
The application for DP was favorably approved and endorsed to the committee on laws and rules chaired by Councilor Ian Mark Nacaya for appropriate action. (JBD)
