Budgets of Brgys 11, 13 OKd

THE 18th City Council during its 78th regular session yesterday presided over by Vice Mayor Raineir Joaquin V. Uy adopted a resolution returning to the Barangay Council of Barangay No. 11 its Ordinance No. 01, Series of 2018.

This covers its annual budget for calendar year 2018 with an estimated income of P2,416,442 as against expenditures of the same amount.

An allocation of P591,644, representing the 20% Barangay Development Fund will be used to finance the rehabilitation of the drainage system at Yacapin-Tiano Streets, barangay office and improvement of the Tanod outpost.

The barangay earmarked P240,344 representing the 10% SK Fund, for cultural and athletic expenses, training and scholarships and the purchase of a sound system.

Also adopted was a resolution returning to the Barangay Council of Barangay No. 13 its Ordinance No. 001 covering its annual budget for 2018 with an estimated income of P2,774,047.

The 20% Development Fund in the amount of P344,904 is allocated for the rehabilitation of the multi-purpose hall, declogging of canals, improvement and fabrication of signage and installation and maintenance of electrical facilities.

Meanwhile, an allocation of P265,305 representing the 10% SK Fund will be used for the training and scholarship programs, feeding programs, SK Election expenses, purchase of one set personal computer, garbage receptacles and cultural and athletic activities, The Power learned.

The legislations were reviewed and endorsed by the committees on barangay affairs and on laws and rules chaired by Councilors Yan Lam S. Lim and Ian Mark Q. Nacaya, respectively. (JAO)
