Goking hails DepEd for holding Expo and Job Fair

COUNCILOR George Goking hailed the Department of Education (DepEd) headed by Regional Director Allan G. Farnazo and Schools Division Superintendent Jonathan S. dela Peña for the success of the Expo and Job Fair held yesterday, February 27 at Gaston Park.

The activity is in line with the K + 12 program. It was bannered by the theme Empowering Senior High School Learners for Employment, Entrepreneurship and Education Opportunity.

Councilor Goking, who chairs the City Council committee on trade and on ways and means, noted that the activity has achieved its intentions in opening doors for senior high school students and preparing them for the future.

Councilor Goking expressed his all-out support to the programs and projects of the DepEd in the city.
