Acenas endorses payment of just compensation to lot owners affected by project

THE City Council committee on subdivision and landed estate chaired by Councilor Dometilo Acenas Jr. last Thursday, favorably endorsed to the committee on finance, budget and appropriations chaired by Councilor Edna Dahino the request for just compensation to lot owners whose properties were affected by a city project.

The lots, with a total area of 1,034 square meters, were affected by the proposed 520.00 meter-wide road project at Macapagal Drive in Barangay Canitoan.

The appropriation, in the amount of P1,275,984, will be charged against the city’s budget for land acquisition and expropriation. (JBD)
