The proposed aid of the city to the Cagayan de Oro Fire District (COFD) for 2018 is P8.2 million, P10 million to the City Jail-Male Dormitory,P10 million and P1.4 million to the City Jail Female and Juvenile Dormitory is P1.4 million.

The budget includes the city’s aid to Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in the amount of P3 million.

The total aid of the city to public order and safety is P75 million.

The Committee of the Whole completed its budget deliberations on Wednesday. The proposed 2018 budget will be acted upon by the legislative body during its next regular session.
