Monsanto, Uy thank Nacaya, CEED

ROADS and Traffic Administration (RTA) Overseer Ret. Col. Mario Verner Monsanto and Hapsay Dalan Chairperson Atty. Egay Uy, during the coordination meeting on Wednesday, expressed their gratitude to Majority Floor Leader City Councilor Ian Mark Q. Nacaya and the CEED Management Team for leading the two-month operation on clearing of illegal vendors and structures around cogon area.

Uy and Monsanto said that CEED has rendered a lot of help and assistance to the personnel of RTA in the clearing operations. Uy added that without the CEED personnel helping the RTA all efforts will come into naught, the same with what happened on its previous operation. City Councilor Nacaya, chairperson on Committee on Economic Enterprise of the City Council, said that CEED will totally turn-over the two-month operations to the RTA because CEED will focus more on inside operations of the Cogon Market.

Nacaya added that 90% has been achieved in the clearing operations. He reminded the RTA executives that it just needs sustainability of efforts.

On his last note, Councilor Nacaya said that it is his fervent hope that all what was started will be sustained by the RTA and will not come into naught.
