Globe Telecom project OKd
IT’s a go for expansion projects of Globe Telecom Inc. in Cagayan de Oro City.
This, after the City Council during its regular session Monday presided over by Vice Mayor Raineir Joaquin V. Uy approved ordinances endorsing with social acceptability the proposed establishment and operation of a 42-meter self-supporting tower at Zone 8, Barangay Bulua and at Puli, Barangay Canitoan.
The approval is, however, subject to the rules and regulations provided for under the City Codified Ordinance and Ordinance No. 9119-2004, and other government agencies covering such operation.
It is also subject to the submission by concerned barangay secretaries of certifications attesting that the signatories of the neighbor’s consent are actual residents of the barangays whose properties are adjoining the proposed towers.
The legislations were reviewed and endorsed by the committees on environment and natural resources chaired by Councilor Zaldy O. Ocon, on public utilities chaired by Councilor Teodulfo Lao and on laws and rules chaired by Councilor Ian Mark Nacaya.
