Labor and Employment

The Committee on Labor & Employment studies, investigates, and reports on all matters involving the rights and duties of workers in their relations among themselves, their employers, and with the public, and/or measures intended to uplift or maintain the dignity of labor; mediation, conciliation, and arbitration of labor disputes, wages and hours of labor, women and child labor, statistics and labor standards.
