Vice Mayor Bebot Rodriguez, the Vice Mayors’ League of the Philippines (VMLP) National Public Relations Officer for Mindanao, represented VMLP National President Vice Mayor Dean Anthony Domalanta at the Caraga Legislative Congress on Smart LGU Development in Butuan City.
With the theme “Leveraging Technology and Innovation – Enhancing Governance and Public Service Delivery,” the congress aimed to strengthen local governance through digital transformation.
“The concept of SMART LGU is not merely about adopting technology; it is about creating a system where innovation becomes the backbone of governance,” VM Bebot emphasized in her speech.
She also highlighted that embracing SMART LGUs is vital for enhancing public services, sustainability, and quality of life, and urged fellow leaders to adopt digital solutions for a future-ready government.
VM Bebot expressed gratitude to Butuan City Mayor Ronnie Vicente Lagnada and Vice Mayor Atty.
